It All Begins

I graduated in Bachelor's Degree of Electronics and Communications Engineering in UST (University of Santo Tomas) last 2003. I spent 5 years of my life understanding the concepts of electronic components through transistors and diodes and communications with either in analog or digital. But why am I in a career where it is so far from what I learned in college.

I became a Software Test Engineer in Azeus Systems in the year 2004. At first, I really enjoyed the wonders of software testing since I was able to play around business solutions softwares. In Azeus, I learned the fundamentals of doing a test. I learned SQL so I can create and query my test data. I become knowledgeable in my thinking of a test case. But somehow, I did not enjoy it any longer. The tasks has become repetitive and I found myself wanting to quit and pursue a career with what I learned during college. But it did not come into reality because right now I am still a software QA Engineer. I think I was driven by money and I don't want to go back earning a small amount.

Anyway, this is just my initial story. I will be sharing in this blog principles, methodologies that I learned for the past years as a Software Test Engineer. Hope a lot can learn from this.
